Susan has no challengers in the Democratic Primary. She will need this time to build her base going into the November General Election. Progressives in her district need to make sure she is re-elected. We need more progressives in the Congress and to get more, we need to keep prior year candidates in the win column.

The Republican incumbent in the US Congress retired and this is an open seat. The May 17th Democratic primary has 5 candidates vying for this seat. UPDATE: Summer won both her primaries for the state house and US House. She will now face a Republican challenger. On a very positive note, it appears that redistricting for US House PA CD-12 has greatly improved the outlook for a Democratic win, placing it in the suburbs of Pittsburgh. Progressives should be supporting Summer so that she can insure she has sufficient votes to win the General Election for the US House on November 8th.

Lindsey has no Democratic challenger in the May primary, but will face a tough re-election campaign. She won the 2018 race against a Republican challenger by less than 1%. Progressives in her district and PA will want to provide financial or time resources to insure that she keeps her seat.

Katie has no Democratic challenger in the May 17th primary, but she will have a Republican running against her in the General Election in November. She won election in 2018 by a 4% margin, so this race may need Progressive support for a win.
