Rebecca faces a tough election campaign. This is her second attempt to win this seat. She faces in the non-partisan primary on August 2nd, the current Democratic incumbent, three Republicans, and one Independent candidate. It is important that Progressives support her NOW so that she can build her base and come in in the top two in the primary. If Rebecca wins the primary, she will face one other candidate on the ballot in the General Election on November 8th. This is a Democratic District which appears to be relatively unchanged with recent redistricting. If she ends up facing the incumbent Democrat in the General Election on November 8th, continued Progressive support will be necessary to add another Progressive to the federal congressional delegation in WA state.
