David faces the incumbent Democrat and another candidate in the Democratic Primary on August 23rd. If he wins the primary, he will win the General Election on November 8th because he will be the only candidate on the ballot. If he loses the Democratic primary, he will still have a chance to win the General Election because he is on the ballot as the Working Families Party candidate. Progressives should support David NOW so that he can build his base and win the Democratic primary. If he doesn’t win the primary additional support will be required to insure he wins the General Election. Progressives in his District should get out the vote for him and should vote for him in the primary and General Election.
