Javier is running unopposed in the June 28th Democratic Primary, but will be opposed by a Republican candidate in the November 8th General Election. The District has leaned Democratic in the past but it is uncertain if this is the case after recent redistricting by the CO Independent Redistricting Commission. Colorade Progressives should get out to support Javier and if in his District, plan to vote for him in the November 8th election.

In addition, if she wins the Primary election, she will face a Republican opponent in the General Election on November 8th. This District was Democratic prior to redistricting, but has been changed substantially, and it is important that Elisabeth build her base of support to insure her election.

It is uncertain what impact recent redistricting will have on this election, but Progressives in Yadira's District should get out to make sure that she wins her re-election.

Progressives should try to insure that this incumbent with a House leadership position is re-elected. Hopefully, Monica insure that legislation in the House moves left, if she wins.
