Rachel faces no challengers in the Democratic primary on August 2nd, but will face a Republican challenger in the General Election on November 8th. The District has changed with redistricting and it is uncertain what impact this will have on the election, but in the past the District voted heavily Democratic and for Rachel. Progressives should plan to support her and vote for her going into the General Election on November 8th.

With all the Qanons running for Secretary of State, it is particularly important that Progressives support the candidacy of Jocelyn Benson who is running for a second term. She will be facing in the General Election on November 8th Republican, Libertarian, Tax Payer Party and Green Party challengers. Again, this is an IMPORTANT election. The Michigan Secretary of State oversees elections, and it is critical that the integrity of the state's elections be maintained. Progressives should plan to support and vote for Jocelyn in the General Election.

Although Angie does not have to face challengers in the Democratic primary, she will be on the ballot in the General Election facing a Republican challenger, and a challenger from the Legal Marijuana Party who could pull votes from her. Progressives should plan to support Angie NOW so that she can build her base going into the General Election. Her District has changed with recent redistricting and it is uncertain how this will affect election outcomes,. This congressional District is considered a TOSS UP, and it is important that Progressives help to keep Angie in the seat, and if living in MN CD-2, plan to vote for Angie in the General Election on November 8th.

Ilhan faced two Democratic challengers in the August 9th primary. Progressives should be supporting her before the primary and if in her District, planning to vote for her in the in the General Election on November 9th when she will face a Republican challenger. The District appears to be slightly changed with recent redistricting, and voted heavily Democratic in the past.

Jennifer is facing a tough campaign ahead. She and two other Democratic challengers will be on the ballot in the August 9th primary. If she wins the primary, she will likely face the incumbent Republican. Progressives should plan to support her NOW so that she can win the primary, and if she wins the primary, should plan to continue to support her going into the General Election on November 8th. The 8th Congressional District has expanded slightly with redistricting, and it is uncertain the impact this will have on election prospects. A Democrat won the seat in 2016, but the Republican incumbent has held the seat since being elected in 2018.
