Brittany Bloam is a land-use attorney, working mom, and the 2026 Democratic nominee for Pennsylvania State House District 45 after defeating Allegheny County Council President Pat Catena in the May 19 primary. The Working Families Party endorsed her and backed the primary with mail and field support; she also carries Our Revolution support. On November 3 she faces Republican James Julius in the open seat left by retiring Rep. Anita Kulik. Progressives should support Bloam for affordability, childcare access, strong public schools, and working-family priorities in Allegheny County.
