Brittany Ramos DeBarros ran for the U.S. House in New York’s 11th Congressional District in 2022, campaigning as a Staten Island organizer. She appeared on the Democratic and Working Families Party lines.
Ramos DeBarros was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and served in the U.S. Army from 2011 to 2019. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami in 2011.
In the August 23, 2022 Democratic primary she finished second with 20.8% of the vote. Max Rose won the nomination with 74.1%.
