Sami will be competing with 7 other Democratic Candidates in the Dem Primary on May 17th. He has an engineering background and is 100% on board with Green New Deal. NOTE: Another Progressive endorsed candidate is also running in this seat vacated by Pete DeFazio who is retiring. Progressives will have to choose the better candidate in this case. Whoever wins this seat will likely win in the General Election in Nov
