This will be another tough campaign for the Progressive candidate to win. In the August 2nd primary, Stephanie will face the current longtime Democratic incumbent, three other Democratic challengers, three Republican challengers and one Independent. It is important that Progressives support her NOW in order that she can build her base of support and come in in the top two in this very crowded primary. If Stephanie wins the primary, she will still have to be elected in the General Election on November 8th. This is a Democratic District which appears relatively unchanged with recent redistricting. If Stephanie faces another Democrat in the General Election, it will again be an uphill to get elected. Progressives should plan to support her and to vote for her in the primary and General Election on November 8th.
