April 5 People’s Veto Day Friday Harbor

"We The People" need to speak out against the tyranny of #HerrMoronica (https://events.pol-rev.com/tag/herrmoronica) and his GOP toadies and complicit Democrat "do nothings" like Chuck Schumer. What are you Veto-ing? Racism, misogyny, The Gilded Age 2.0 and its ability to kill democracy with money, the gutting of our nation's institutions, the disinformation, the anti-vaxxer take over of our science based healthcare, the fascist xenophobic misdirection and blaming of 'the other' (e.g. immigrants or Muslims) for things like gun violence?

Let's send a message to our elected officials informing them that "We The People" have the power - and we don't consent to this dangerous game of tyranny and revenge. Let's continue to discuss amongst ourselves whilst we "compete" for the best banners to show our community what is worth fighting for -- and The People are Veto-ing. Maybe that will encourage more people to call our representatives in DC and Olympia to make some real changes. Maybe it will encourage people to make the painful sacrifice required to boycott the billionaires who have bought so many of our elected officials that democracy itself has been contorted into something unrecognizable. And let's have some fun so that we can keep doing this for as long as it takes.
