Aprli 5th Nationwide Protest

• Yes, we're participating in the Nationwide Protests on Saturday, April 5th at noon.

• We plan to line both sides of Galena St., in front of the Stephenson County Courthouse starting at noon. We can call chants back and forth. That will be fun.

• There are two public parking lots close by and ramps and flat sidewalk for people with disabilities.

• There are no public bathrooms.

• We will have one megaphone, but if you have one, bring it along.

• There is no scheduled speakers. People can take turns speaking

• Bring signs, there so much to message around that's been happening, pick the one issue you're most passionate about.

• Please do not be vulgar, even though I know you'll be tempted to be. We don't want that one or two signs to be picked out and used against us.

• IF you play a musical instrument, bring it. All of them, any kind. something to drum on, etc. Let's make some noise.

• Yes, we will let Press know we are doing this and we will take lots of pictures. Even if they don't send a reporter, we can send them pictures.

• Yes, we will share pictures out to Rachel Maddow, in hopes to be included in her news coverage that day or in the days afterwards.

• Please, when you see any social media postings, the only way to make this Nationwide Protest go viral is to share, share, comment and share more.

• Dress appropriately and stay safe. Ears and Eyes open at all times. Help keep each other safe, and watch out for those elderly friends and neighbors joining us.
