Ned has one Democratic challenger in the August 9th primary. It is important that Progressives vote for Ned in the Primary. If he wins the primary, he will have then face Libertarian, Independent, Green Party, and Republican candidates in the General Election on November 8th. Progressives should plan to support Ned from the primary through the General Election, and if in the state of CT, plan to vote for him in both the primary and the General Election on November 8th.
