Keith Ellison has been Minnesota’s attorney general since 2019. He represented Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District from 2007 to 2019, served as deputy chair of the Democratic National Committee, and earlier served in the Minnesota House.
He won the August 11 Democratic primary over David Madgett and faces Republican Ron Schutz on November 3. The October Minnesota Poll showed Ellison leading.
As attorney general he has sued the Trump administration repeatedly and brought consumer, housing and Medicaid-fraud cases. Our Revolution has endorsed his re-election.
