This will be a difficult election to win. Eva faces no other Democrat in the primary on August 9th. She will face a Republican candidate in the General Election on November 8th. The District has become smaller in its southern quarter but is otherwise unchanged with recent redistricting, and the impact on the election is not know. The District has voted Republican in the past, but the incumbent is not running in 2022. Progressives should be supporting Eva NOW so that she can build her base of support going into the General Election on November 8th. Progressives who would like to see her elected, should get out the vote for her, and if in her District, vote for her.
