Jennifer Schultz represented District 7A in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2015 to 2023. She holds a Ph.D. in health economics from the University of Minnesota and has taught economics.
She won the August 9, 2022 Democratic primary for Minnesota’s 8th Congressional District with 86.1% of the vote. In the November 8, 2022 general election, incumbent Pete Stauber defeated her 57.2% to 42.7%.
Schultz ran for the seat again in 2024 and lost to Stauber 58.0% to 41.9%. This card keeps PolRev’s record of the 2022 race.
