The Rev. Frederick D. Haynes III is the 2026 Democratic nominee for Texas’s 30th Congressional District in Dallas, the seat Rep. Jasmine Crockett left to run for Senate. He has led Friendship-West Baptist Church since 1983.

He won the March 3 Democratic primary outright with 72.6% of the vote, ahead of Barbara Mallory Caraway and Rodney LaBruce. He faces Republican Everett Jackson on November 3.
