About this event

# March 4th Protest - Noon

Permit has been acquired for a

March 4th protest at noon in Topeka, Kansas. Meet at the Capitol building, South steps, and then we will march to the Northside Main Entrance.

Please invite Everyone you know!

We've GOT to get bigger, it’s time to bring out ALL your friends.

Small groups may choose to enter and walk the halls with signs (no sticks allowed in building) and/or position themselves outside elevators. We need to be SEEN by our Legislators!

Note: By moving inside in small groups and by letting our Signs speak for us, we are likely to be able to move about the building more freely than if we choose to get loud. Every protester must choose what level of Non-Violent “Good Trouble” they are comfortable with. Marching around the outside of the Capitol is a great way of being seen by the Topeka public!

Please note that Equality Day is from 10-11am INSIDE at the Capitol… show up early for that too, if you are able!)

Bring extra signs (without sticks), if you have them to share!

Please keep in mind 50501 protests are peaceful and weapon free. Focus of the protest aligns with 50501 objectives: limit executive overreach, demand accountability from our government, and defend every American’s civil rights. Should counter-protesters be encountered, simply ignore them. Past protests in Topeka have not had any issues and since we have a permit we have a right to the space which can be enforced if needed (please report disturbances to protest organizers, do not engage).
