About this event

🚨 EMERGENCY MASS MOBILIZATION TO PROTECT OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS 🚨

• 📆 Saturday, April 12

• 🕔 5PM

• 📍 Times Square, 43rd St. & 7th Ave.

STAND UP, STAND TOGETHER.

A Louisiana judge has determined that Mahmoud Khalil — who has never been convicted of any crime — is deportable due to his “beliefs, statements or associations.” The idea that any permanent resident can be removed from the United States is an attack on us all, no matter what we choose to take to the streets for.

Join us to stand side-by-side with members of our community and show the current administration that we will fight to protect each other, protect free speech, protect immigrants, and protect our students.

In the words of Columbia University Associate Professor Joseph Hawley, "Where exactly are we in the poem that begins 'When they came for the communists, I did not speak out'?  Well, they already came for the asylum speakers, they've come for the migrant families, now they've come for Mahmoud Khalil. It's not a very long poem, so how far down the list do you think you are?"

Stand with us to fight for Mahmoud Khalil and all of us who take to the streets to peacefully protest. See you in the streets.
