Hands Off! Raleigh Fights Back

Donald Trump and Elon Musk think this country belongs to them. North Carolina is fighting back!

They're doing everything that they can to get their hands on our health care, our data, our jobs, our services—and daring the world to stop them. This is a crisis, and the time to act is now.

🚨 On Saturday, April 5th, we're taking to the streets to fight back with a clear message: Hands off! 🚨

📍 Where: Bicentennial Plaza (space between the North Carolina State Capitol and the North Carolina Legislative Building)

❓ What: A rally, to say “Hands Off!” featuring speeches about the gutting of our federal infrastructure.

📅 When: 11 AM - 1:30 PM April 5, 2025

This mass mobilization day is our message to the world that we do not consent to the destruction of our government and our economy for the benefit of Trump and his billionaire allies. Alongside Americans across the country, we are marching, rallying, and protesting to demand a stop to the chaos and build an opposition movement against the looting of our country.

50501 NC and NC Indivisibles are hosting a “HANDS OFF!” rally and food drive benefiting the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina, in partnership with the North Carolina Poor Peoples Campaign, The Black and Brown Coalition of North Carolina, Wake Women Have Mercy, and more to be announced! We will provide more details about plans for April 5th soon, including an online link to donate directly to FBCENC, and a list of most needed items that we will be collecting at the rally. Please stay tuned for new updates.

A core principle behind all Hands Off! and 50501 NC events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
