Empty Chair Town Hall Meeting – Bryan Steil, WI 1st CD

Southern Wisconsin Grassroot Network will host a Town Hall meeting for Walworth County residents on Sunday, March 23 at 3 PM at the Elkhorn Chamber of Commerce, 203 E. Walworth Street. Wisconsin 1st Congressional District Bryan Steil has been invited and his attendance is pending confirmation. If Rep. Steil is unable to attend, the event will be held as an empty chair Town Hall. Attendees will have two minutes to share their concerns and ask questions.

Representative Steil has not held an open town hall meeting in Walworth County for several years. A January 2023 legislative meeting in Delavan with Rep. Tyler August and Senator Ron Johnson was by invitation only and was not open to constituents. On February 27, thirty constituents from Walworth County visited Rep. Steil’s Janesville office requesting a public forum to share concerns. 

This event is free, wheelchair accessible, and open to Walworth County residents.
