About this event
🚨 March starts at 11:30 am at Protest Corner (ETSU McDonald's at 826 West Walnut St, Johnson City, TN). We will march on West State of Franklin towards downtown. We will cross at South Commerce Street to enter Founders Park. The march is .8 mile and about 20 minutes. Those unable to march should meet at the parking lot at Founders Park. You'll be met by a volunteer in a yellow vest.
🚨 Rally starts at noon at Founders Park. We will engage in a peaceful protest and chanting and community discussions.
➡️ Food Donations will be collected (at the parking lots at the start and end of the march) to benefit local food pantries.
➡️ Parking is available on ETSU's lot across from the McDonalds at Protest Corner and on the Public Lot at the entrance to Founders Park (entrances on Whitney St and South Commerce St, parallel to Highland Ave). Additional parking is available downtown within walking distance of Founders Park.
