Dee faces no challengers in the Democratic primary on June 28th and to date will face no challengers in the General Election on November 8th. The District is changed but not substantially with redistricting, and was Democratic in the past.

Carol faces no challenger in the Democratic primary on June 28th. In addition, she faces no challengers in the General Election on November 8th. Her District appears relatively unchanged with redistricting.

Elizabeth is an incumbent who has held this seat since 2012. She is up for re-election this year. She is one of four candidates running in the Democratic primary for three council position. Progressives will want to vote in the primary on June 28th and then again in the General Election on November 8th where there are Republicans on the ballot running for this seat.
Brandon Johnson
County Commissioner, Cook County, Illinois, District 1
Brandon is running for re-election to District 1 County Commissioner of Cook County. Progressives will want to insure that they support him in his re-election bid.
Chris Taliaferro
Circuit Court Judge, Cook County, Illinois
From Journal of Oak Park and River Forest: "Ald. Chris Taliaferro (29th) is running for judge of the Cook County Circuit Court’s 11th Subcircuit, which spans much of northwestern Chicago and several western and southwestern suburbs.."
Chris is running to fill a vacant judge position in the 11th subcircuit. Progressives: here is your chance to put a progressive judge into the court system. Progressive in the Chicago are should consider support this election bid.
Fritz Kaegi
County Assessor, Cook County, Illinois
Fritz is the only Progressive candidate running to be re-elected to Cook County County Assessor. He needs Progressive support to insure he keeps this office.
Kwame Raoul
Attorney General, Illinois

Kwame will face no challengers in the Democratic primary on June 28th. He will face a Republican challenger,. Illinois in recent elections has voted Democratic at the state level.
Aaron Ammons
County Clerk, Champaign County, Illinois
Aaron is running to be re-elected to his position as Champaign County City Clerk. It does not appear that he has any challengers in the Democratic primary on June 28th. Progressive votes will help him stay in office.
Jackie Traynere

Jackie is running to be re-elected to the Will County Board. Progressive support will be required to insure she moves from the primary on June 28th and is elected in the General Election on November 8th.
