Brad will face a Democratic challenger in the primary on August 23rd. If he wins the primary, he will be unopposed and will be elected on November 8th. It is important for Progressives to support Brad NOW to insure he can build his base to win the primary. Progressives in his District should plan to get out the vote for him primary and vote for him in the primary and General Election.

Rachel is running unopposed in both the Democratic and Working Family primaries. She will however face either one Republican and one Conservative Party candidate or one candidate on the ballot lines for the Republican and Conservative Parties. Progressives should be supporting Rachel going into the General Election. Progressives in Rachel's District should plan to get out the vote and to vote for Rachel in the General Election.

John is unopposed in the August 23rd primaries but will be opposed in the General Election by a candidate running on the Conservative and Republican ballot lines. Progressives should be supporting John going into the General Election to insure his base is strong enough to win on November 8th. Progressives in John's District should be getting out the vote for and voting for John, most importantly in the General Election.

Samra runs unopposed in the Democratic and Working Family Party primaries to be held on August 23rd. In the November 8th General Election, her name will appear on both the Democratic and Working Family Party candidate lines on the ballot. She will be opposed in the General Election on November 8th by a candidate who will be on both the Republican and Conservative candidate lines on the ballot. It is uncertain what impact if any the recent redistricting will have on the electability rating of the District, although this District seems to be a toss up based on recent election results. Progressives should plan to support Samra to insure that she has a sufficient base of support to be re-elected to a state senate seat.

Progressives should be supporting Kristen so that she can continue to build her base and win the General Election on November 8th. Progressives in Kirsten's District should plan to get out the vote and to vote for Kirsten in the General Election.

Progressives should be supporting Chuck into the General Election so that he can continue to build his base of support and win on November 8th. Progressives in Chuck's District should be getting out the vote and voting for Chuck in the General Election.

Zohran is in a fortuitous situation in that he is running unopposed for his House seat in the November election. It is good to see so many New York Progressive candidates who are winning their elections unopposed.
