Anna has no challengers in the Democratic primary on August 23rd, but will face a Republican challenger in the General Election on November 8th. Though her District number has changed with recent redistricting, District 42 includes much of her old District with expanded boundaries. It is uncertain what impact if any the changes to the District will have on the election. Anna did win her District in recent elections by wide margins. Progressives should support Anna going into the General Election, and if in her District, get out the vote and vote for her in the General Election on November 8th.
