David is the progressive candidate running with five other Democratic candidates after the incumbent announced his retirement. Progressive support will be needed NOW for this nationally known progressive organizer to build his base to win the primary in the September 13th primary. Congressional District Two has been democratic, so if David wins the primary, he can win in the General Election on November 8th, as long as Progressives get out and vote for him. UPDATE: Unfortunately, David lost his primary.
