2022 race briefing
Huwaida Arraf ran in the August 2, 2022 Democratic primary for Michigan’s newly redrawn 10th District. Carl Marlinga won the primary with 47.8%, ahead of Rhonda Powell at 16.7%, Angela Rogensues at 13.9% and Arraf at 13.0%. Republican John James won the November general election.
In 2024 Arraf ran as a write-in candidate for an at-large seat on the University of Michigan Board of Regents and was not elected.
