THIS IS ONE OF THE KEY ELECTIONS OF 2022. The incumbent Republican is unpopular in the state, and it is POSSIBLE for a Democrat to win this Senate seat in WI. Progressives who want to see Mandela in the Senate should be supporting him NOW. Although he has name recognition as the LT Governor in the state, he will be competing with nine other Democrats running in the August 9th primary. Mandela needs to build his base of support to insure that he wins the primary on August 9th. Then, if he wins the primary election, he will need Progressive support to insure that voters get out and vote for him in the General Election on November 8th.
UPDATE: Mandela has won the WI primary. Progressives should be supporting him now going into the General Election on November 8th.
