Padma faces no challengers in the Democratic primary on August 2nd, but will face a Republican challenger in the General Election on November 8th. The senate District encompasses much of Padma’s old house District, and has expanded north. It leaned Democratic in the past. Progressives should support and vote for Padma in the General Election on November 8th.
