Robert LeVertis Bell is running for Kentucky House District 43 in Louisville, an open seat in 2026. He won the May 19 Democratic primary with 2,938 votes (54.6%) over Joi McAtee, per Kentucky’s official election-night results. The Republican primary was canceled, and Bell goes into the November 3 general election as the Democratic nominee. Progressives in the district should vote Bell on November 3.
