Scott’s name will not be on the primary ballots since he is unopposed. He will however face the incumbent who will be on the Republican and Conservative ballot lines in the General Election. This will be a challenging election, but it is possible that the incumbent may face a backlash based on the abortion issue.
Progressives should be supporting Scott NOW in order that he can work to build his base as we head into the General Election on November 8th. Progressives in his District should be working to get out the vote and planning to vote for him in the General Election.
