Steve who serves as a Deputy President Pro Tempore in the state senate will face one Democratic challenger in the primary on August 9th. He will face one Republican and one Independent Party candidate in the General Election on November 8th if he wins the primary. Progressives should support him NOW so that he can build his base going into the primary, and continue to provide support through the General Election. Progressives in his District should plan to get out the vote for him and vote for him in both the primary and the General Election.
