About this event
Meet at Hunt Plaza in front of the Morris and bring your signs to peacefully protest the attacks on our democracy and the benefits and systems we have built to support each other. We will line the streets from Lasalle to Colfax to show South Bend demands that our government get Elon Musk and Doge's HANDS OFF our democracy.
We will have a short set of speakers and then line the streets with protest signs and chants. Talk with the people you meet and build connections so we can keep this momentum going!
Allied organizations will be invited to share their information for people to stay connected and build in their neighborhoods.
We suggest all concerned citizens download the 5 calls (https://5calls.org/) application and make calls at least once a week to their elected leaders on any issues of concern.
The Jon Hunt Memorial Plaza is in front of the Morris Civic at 211 N Michigan Street, South Bend Indiana 46601
