Family Friendly March for Democracy and Decency

Join us for a family-friendly, peaceful protest against Trump administration policies that damage our democracy, harm us and our neighbors, and attack our global allies. Raise your voice against potential cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, WIC and SNAP benefits; the defunding of USAID; mass deportation raids and immigration activity in churches and schools; anti-DEI policies; massive layoffs of federal workers; cuts to VA services and care; cuts to medical and scientific research funding; cuts to health and safety services (FDA, CDC, NOAA, etc); DOGE unconstitutionally usurping congress' power of the purse and illegally accessing data; the failure to support Ukraine against the Russian invasion; weakening consumer protections; cuts to the Department of Education; attacks on free speech in colleges and universities; and the Trump administration's disregard for the constitution and our existing laws.

10:30-11:30am: March to the intersection of 98th Ave NE And NE 116th Street to wave signs

11:30am-12:00pm: Return to Juanita Beach and event concludes
