Chris Rabb is the 2026 Democratic nominee for Pennsylvania’s 3rd Congressional District, the open Philadelphia seat Rep. Dwight Evans is leaving. He has represented the 200th District in the state House since 2016 and is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America.
On May 19 he won 44.6% of the vote, defeating state Sen. Sharif Street, Dr. Ala Stanford and Shaun Griffith. No Republican ran, and he faces independent Dennis Mahoney on November 3.
A Yale and Penn graduate, Rabb worked for Sen. Carol Moseley Braun and has taught at Temple and Drexel. DSA, Justice Democrats, Our Revolution, the Working Families Party and the Progressive Change Campaign Committee have endorsed him.
