Democracy belongs to all of us—not to dictators, kings, dynasties, billionaires or those who seek to hoard power and accumulate wealth for the 1%. Join us for a peaceful, high-energy rally where we’ll stand together for free and fair elections, equal representation, and government by the people, for the people!
On April 19th, protest the threats to our democracy and honor the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution.
This event is organized by Southeast CT 50501 and Indivisible Southeast CT.
Our event will take place at the intersection of Huntington and Broad Streets in New London CT. Signs and voices welcome; absolutely no violence allowed. We protest peacefully, now and always. A core principle behind all Indivisible and 50501 events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
