Janet is running unopposed in the Democratic primary on August 23rd. She will face a Republican challenger in the General Election. Recent redistricting does not appear to have changed the geographic area she previously ran in and built her base in, but prior election results have been mixed and this race might be a toss up. Progressives in her senate district should be working to get out the vote and planning to vote for her in the General Election on November 8th.
