John Olszewski Jr., known as Johnny O, represents Maryland’s 2nd Congressional District. He took office on January 3, 2025, after serving as Baltimore County Executive. On June 23, 2026, official results gave him the Democratic primary with 65,646 votes (84.52 percent) to Clint Spellman Jr.’s 12,019 (15.48 percent). He faces Republican Dave Wallace on November 3. Progressives in Baltimore County, Baltimore City, and Carroll County have a sitting Democrat running to hold a seat he already won.
