Michelle H. Booker defeated incumbent Stephanie T. Bolden in the September 15, 2026 Democratic primary for Delaware State House District 2, winning 943 votes (51.8%) to Bolden’s 876 (48.2%). A community activist and nonprofit leader backed by the Working Families Party, she advances affordable housing, reinvestment, and working-family priorities in Wilmington. With no Republican on the ballot, Booker is the unopposed November nominee. Political Revolution endorses Booker to send a progressive champion from HD-2 to Dover.
