Abraham as incumbent is running for re-election and faces four challengers in the August 2nd primary. It is important for Progressives to support Abraham NOW so that he can build his base and win the Democratic primary. Although his District number has changed, the District is still basically in Hamtramck. The District has votes Democratic. If Abraham wins the primary he likely will win the General Election on November 8th where he will face a Republican challenger.
