DECLARATION OF EQUAL LIBERTY

We the people reject the agenda proposed by the Heritage Foundation in its publication of Project 2025. Its rhetoric intends to divide, isolate, and alienate our society, as well as dismantle the foundational liberties of our country by attacking our institutions. The authors directly assault our individual liberties, targeting citizens by race, gender, sexual orientation, economic status, national origin, or by any means they choose. The policies proposed undermine our systemic freedoms, such as free education, free speech, labor and employment protections, and affordable healthcare. The destructive political ideologies of the Foundation's president were made evident in his book, originally titled Dawn's Early Light: Burning Down Washington to Save America (before it was retitled).

It has not gone unnoticed that this call to burn down American institutions is idolized within its foreword, written by Vice President J.D.

Vance. It is in this same spirit of cowardice that "Project 2025" has rebranded itself as "America First" -the plan so divisive that President Trump distanced himself from the former while duplicitously implementing the latter. We the people reject the spirit of this agenda, regardless of its name.In light of our interdependence, we propose temporary postponement when civility is not facilitated, so that such conditions can be negotiated.

We view protest as a form of negotiation where best practices leave all parties as beneficiaries. Naturally, civil discourse will continue until a satisfactory compromise is met, the condition of which is our unconditional rights. This process preserves the integrity of all those involved.

Our concern for the integrity of others is equal to that of our own because our pride rests in a society that reflects goodwill. Martin Luther King said, "The are of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice." May we embody the essence of justice and pull that are closer to our country, for there is no freedom in liberty won at the cost of another's oppression.

To those who may be concerned or hesitant: We thoroughly understand and appreciate your concerns. We know that the current administration is looking for any reason to impose martial law and further strip us of our rights. That is why it is SO IMPORTANT to emphasize: KEEP IT PEACEFUL.

Our coalition of grassroots organizers is committed to addressing the urgent need for unity, justice, and positive change across the United States. We are a diverse and dynamic group partnering with Political Revolution and working to collaborate with other established organizations. We remain an independent collective, embodying the collective unrest of the American population at the local level.Donald Trump and his administration needs to address the American people, own up to his lies, and acknowledge the harm caused by his administration. Our coalition calls for immediate actions to rectify the injustices perpetuated by current leadership and to restore integrity and fairness to our political system. We demand transparency, accountability, and the prioritization of human rights and equality.

To those concerned with legitimacy, this movement has been organized over the past ten days by average Americans just like you. While we wish we had more time to gather resources and the support of established groups, the situation in our country requires a fast response, and we have worked tirelessly to make our voices heard. We encourage you to join us in this movement, whether it is through reaching out to your representatives, showing up on the field to protest, or simply talking to your neighbors and spreading the word that these are not normal times. Our goal is to unite the American people against our common enemy: the Trump administration, anyone involved in dismantling our democracy, and anyone who wishes to divide us by our differences instead of unite us by what makes us American. This is only the first step, and we intend to keep fighting for our rights until democracy is restored.Requests:

• Conduct mass investigations into politicians appointed by Donald J. Trump.

• Investigate Elon Musk's role within the US government and take appropriate action if any federal or state laws are found to be violated.

• Overturn or rescind executive orders that infringe on citizen and human rights.

• Strengthen laws on hate speech, including banning displays of Nazi propaganda or salutes.

• Reinstate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) frameworks to promote better conditions for all citizens.
