• We will assemble as private citizens representing our own individual interests, as they relate to a variety of concerns including both personal and societal matters, in reaction to current events. No partisan interest, private organization, business entity, educational institution, or other established entity retains organizational authority over attendees.
We do not consent to apathetically resign the fate of our society and the sovereignty of our free wills to the blatantly exploitative and irrevocably damaging decisions and actions of an administration that does not represent the best interests of our selves, our families, our neighbors, our communities, or our nation.
Our frustrations and disagreement with the direction our government is being led, which is obviously leading us toward a militarized fascist state, are very legitimate. Our journalists and news agents are being suppressed; citizens are being "disappeared" from public and private spaces and sent to government-sanctioned prison camps both inside and outside of the U.S.; many humans, children included, are being detained indefinitely in for-profit prison facilities where they are permanently displaced from their lives and families; many different demographics of people are being prejudicially discriminated against and treated poorly; the tariffs going into effect will require working poor families to pay more for goods and services, while the wealthy elite will continue to receive tax breaks and private-interest companies will be prioritized over human lives; military export sales are being prioritized over human lives - our rights and freedoms are being denied, and if we do nothing to defend our civil union, there will be nothing left to defend.
THIS IS A PEACEFUL ASSEMBLY. ANY NON-PEACEFUL ACTION IS UNSANCTIONED AND UNAFFILIATED WITH THE STATED GOALS OF THIS ASSEMBLAGE AND SHOULD BE VIEWED AS IN DIRECT CONFLICT WITH THE INTERESTS OF THE PEOPLE.
