Shape Your Community’s Future
- Start a Political Revolution (PolRev) Chapter
Having a PolRev chapter can increase the outreach of our own community. Check the local discord to see if anyone is willing to organize in the local area. Reach out to other people in your community if they would be willing to join. Remember that the point of the PolRev chapter is to do a number of things in the local community. This includes making life better for the average person, defend human rights, break corporate power and ensure community.
- Organize a group in your community to advocate for systemic change.
- Host discussions, events, and campaigns centered on bold progressive policies.
- Meet at a library or coffee shop
- Start a book club where you read books on how to enact change.
- Volunteer together
- Hold socials on meetup or eventbrite where people can learn about local politics
- Create art together
- Go around town and post flyers together

- Join Your Local Democratic Party or Other Groups
Having a chair and contact with the local democratic party can help you understand what’s going on in your local area. It can also give you a place at the table to know who to contact to pressure your local democrats when you need to connect change.

- Join or Participate With Your Local Third Parties
Local third parties may have a number of initiatives throughout your community which may already be run under democratic or republican banners. Check with them to see how you can help. They can also get you acquainted with local politics and local channels to get things changed.

6.Volunteer for a Local Charity
The more people you can speak to and get to know the better. Politically organizing is all about who you know and being able to say that you actually have helped the community. It’s about building from the ground up.

- Build connections and strengthen your community through service.

Most people are uninformed as to what initiatives we have in the local community. They may know a problem exists, but might not know that someone is trying to fix it. If nobody is already trying to fix it, consider trying to fix it yourself or advocate for local representetives to do something.
