From Ballotpedia: "Rashida Tlaib (Democratic Party) is a member of the U.S. House, representing Michigan's 13th Congressional District. She assumed office on January 3, 2019. Her current term ends on January 3, 2023.

Tlaib (Democratic Party) is running for re-election to the U.S. House to represent Michigan's 12th Congressional District. She is on the ballot in the Democratic primary on August 2, 2022."

Rashida will face three challengers in the Democratic primary on August 2nd, and a Republican challenger in the General Election on November 8th. It is important that Progressives support her to build her base and to insure that even with recent redistricting changes, the District is still winnable in the General Election. UPDATE: Rashida won the Democratic primary in August and now will face a Republican challenger in the General Election.

JD OR PCCC

From https://ballotpedia.org/Summer_Lee: "Summer Lee (Democratic Party) is a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing District 34. She assumed office on December 1, 2018. Her current term ends on November 30, 2022.

Lee is also running for re-election to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to represent District 34. She is on the ballot in the Democratic primary on May 17, 2022."

The Republican incumbent in the US Congress retired and this is an open seat. The May 17th Democratic primary has 5 candidates vying for this seat. UPDATE: Summer won both her primaries for the state house and US House. She will now face a Republican challenger. On a very positive note, it appears that redistricting for US House PA CD-12 has greatly improved the outlook for a Democratic win, placing it in the suburbs of Pittsburgh. Progressives should be supporting Summer so that she can insure she has sufficient votes to win the General Election for the US House on November 8th.
